Nobody has been blogging lately...kind of makes me sad...but I'll forgive you all :)

State Champions!

Here are just a few of the pictures that I took this past weekend at the state volleyball tournament. I am so happy for Kim and Gary and for the girls.  They played like there was no tomorrow.  I wish you all could have been there it was SO amazing how hard these girls fought and played.  I am sure they were well coached too!You all have something to be proud of.   Oh, also a big congrats goes out to the

 fans as they earned the title of best sportsmanship in class D1.

Here we go bulldogs...

As my children will LOUDLY verify and validate, I suck with....... having my phone turned on....or with me.....with texting......or it's dead, etc.......so just in case you don't know, we will be playing in Grand Island Thursday at 2:30 at Northwest.  If we win we play Friday at GIHS at 2:00......and then sometime Saturday depending on whether we win or lose.

My girls will not be attending.  Ashley is going to the Penn State game and Tor is going to Washington D.C.......so we see where we rate, ha, ha, ha just kidding, I know they both want to be there and will be there in spirit.  Mark will be there...if you are looking for him on Thursday he will be the one dressed as a lifesize whoppee cushion or bottle of mustard......the fun of being a sixteen year old fan! ha!

I don't expect y'all to come, but did want to let you know about it.  I PROMISE I will send a mass text tomorrow after the game.

One last thing.  My mother-in-law would like to have Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving this year, but I told her I wasn't sure what we were doing.  I guess, even if we can't make it on Thanksgiving the rest of you could all get together without us :( ....... I told her I was going to email or blog (yep, words completely lost on her) and see if maybe a different day would work........any idea what's going on?.........sucks to have to even think of anything other than going to Mom's for turkey and stuffing and potatoes and gravy and pie and family........ugh...........every time I think of it my mind screams the little "monologue" Diane gave this summer when we started taking the tape off around the kitchen border at mom's..........and then I ask God to forgive my screaming potty mind!  Ash is driving back so she will be around.  Anyway, just throwing some things out to be discussed...something to blog and email and text and oh yeah, TALK about......

Okay, need to get packing.......LOVE YOU GUYS........and miss you ALL!

remembering NIKE

Today is a sad day in the Bellar household.  We found out on Monday that our beloved Nike had cancer and that the tumor was very aggressive.  So today, November 2, we let Nike be free of illness and pain.  We hope that he was welcomed into heaven by our family and Bandit and Lexie.  It is so hard to let your pet go.  I realize that to many it may seen that I am being over dramatic but Nike was part of our family and it is hard to let him go.  We will miss him tremendously and so will Lucy.  So please enjoy the pictures of our puppy, Nike.

Jared update

Hey just wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes for Jared.  He is doing much better.  He got his cast last Monday and has another appointment next week for a check up.  He gets his staples out on Wednesday of this week so we are thankful for that.  A good hair cleaning is needed.  He is quite upset about missing out on the first few weeks of b-ball.  But I do think that we will get through it.  We are thankful that he is alive and doing well.    Again, thank you all for your well wishes.  Here are some pictures of his injuries.  We love and we are so very thankful!  Love to you all--Lolo

Weird Feelings / Cindy

I've had some weird moments this weekend. Just thoughts of Mom popping into my head at the weirdest times.  It seems to happen alot in church. Can rarely make it through Mass without tearing up at some point.  Last night I was sound asleep and woke up at 2:30 a.m. and yelled "Mom!" and just started crying uncontrollably. I can't rememeber dreaming about her just felt this incredible hole in my chest.  Then this morning I got in my car and started driving to Hastings.  Randy must have been in my car last because the radio was turned off....:) gotta love him. When I finally turned it on about 15 minutes after I left, the song on the channel was "Burning Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash.....Weird don't you think?  Need some Alexander Time. We need to get together soon! Love You All

Head on over and meet my new class. I also posted about the space unit that we've been doing. You HAVE to watch the first youtube video on there. The solor system song. I was searching for videos about space and this one popped up. Andrea was in my room when I found it and she thought it was super creepy and that the kids would hate it. Wrong. They LOVED it! We have watched it at least ten times (usually after they have been begging for a while.) As most of you know... I turned 26. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh! A little over a week ago. I took it well, for the most part, publicly at least. Inside, however, I'm feeling it family. Andrea turns 26 tomorrow. Almost identical ages but completely DIFFERENT lives. She's married. She has a beautiful daughter (who I adore very much.) She owns a house. Everything that I assumed I would have...or would at least be close to at this point in my life. Somewhere it took a turn. Sadly, I've fallen in love with someone who isn't exactly sure that they want those things out of life. I haven't told most of you this...so I'm kind of pouring my heart out here. All of my closest friends. Those who know both Wade and I say that he'll change his mind. He'll grow up and realize what he's missing. After over two years and a now long distance relationship...I'm starting to wonder. At this point, I'm really struggling with whether to stay in this (because I do love him SO SO much) or to give up and look for someone who knows that they want the same things I do. I have an amazing family, wonderful friends, and a great job...but I feel like something is missing. Big time. I know that none of you know Wade (another point against him) but I need advice family. I absolutely can't decide which path to take. Wendy emailed the other day and said that Wade was a little like Flat Stanley...she wasn't sure that he actually existed :) Here's a couple of pictures from my birthday celebration (which involved margaritas) including a picture of the ever illusive Wade. He would be absolutely 100 percent mortified if he knew I was telling and showing you this (on a blog especially!) I would love to hear anything you have to say...miss you all so much.

a message from the beyond?????

Dear Family:  I would like to introduce you to the newest addition to the Bellar family.  Our niece, Jennifer, finally had her baby.  Jennifer is about the sweetest girl you will ever come across it is no wonder that Jennifer shares the same birthday as another sweet lady, our mother.  Now here is where it gets kind of eerie--her daughter, Leena, was born on Dad's birthday, August 25th.  I feel as though there is a message   telling me that mom and dad are together and through this little baby and Jennifer there will always be something to celebrate on these special days.  Hope you enjoy these pictures--she definitely is a cutie!
