Heart Walk 2012

We had a great morning at the American Heart Association Heart Walk on Saturday.  "Strong Heart Strong Family" raised $1175 total dollars for the AHA!! Wow!  What a great job!

Some highlights included:  ballon animals, free food, easy last minute money drop, AHA t-shirts, 1.7 mile walk, break at the playground, alpaca petting, remembering those we've lost to heart disease, raising lots of money for AHA (for a group who hates raising $), and spending time with family.

I really hope this is an event we can do again next year.  It was nice to support a great cause for a great reason!

3 2 1 cupcake

okay have u every wanted a cupcake but didn't want to make 24 of them. In my house I usually throw away 20 of them. Well the other nite at Weight Watchers a member shared with us her 3 2 1 cupcake recipe that is only 1 point here is the recipe

first take angel food cake mix (the one step kind) and mix with any cake mix of your choice in a large container (ziplock baggie.

in a coffee mug put
3 Tablespoons of the cake mixtuure
2 Tablespoons of water
1 minute in microwave
and instant cupcake
top with lite cool whip and you have a fast, easy and delicious treat.

I just tried this recipe and OMG it is great!

Sunday Night TV

Hey guys, It is Sunday night and I am watching my dvr-ed shows, Army Wives, which mom got me hooked on......and then on TLC at 8:00 is a show called Long Island Medium. I started watching it this fall and even though I cry about every single Sunday and it makes me miss Momma A LOT, it also, in a strange way, comforts me and gives me hope that there is something else out there and that mom and dad and grandma and grandpa and all those we love are around us and at peace. Anyway, if you have never seen it, thought I would give you the heads up and hope that it may bring you a little hope and peace. LOVE !YOU ALL SO MUCH...kimmy
